Cali Fair

Every year since December 25 and along six days, in Cali gathers visitors from all over the world to enjoy the most representative celebrations of Valle del Cauca Region.

With 50 years of trajectory, Cali Fair is today an important referential point for the tourists that hope to enjoy the season of traditional parties and experience the idiosyncrasy of this department. Besides, the visitors of the fair will enjoy the exquisite vallecaucana gastronomy at Las Tascas. These small and picturesque restaurants built temporarily for the fair are open air; they offer typical dishes of the region and also international cuisine that delight the visitors with a flavors feast.

This 52 Cali Fair has included different communities situation that provides  a variety of music and dance spectacles that integrates the people and invites to  share the recreation, family activities and rescue the costumes of the city. The celebration will take place since December 25 to December 30, when tourists and nationals will share the enjoyment of the celebrations.
The initial ceremony of Cali Fair will take place with a parade at the Salsodromo event that will allow the city show its talents and joy to the world. The parade will offer recognition to all those people that trough the salsa helped to build the city. It also includes the show with 30 of the best Cali Salsa schools, accompanied with 4 allegoric carriages and the musical groups Niche and Guayacán.

The scenery will be the Suroriental highway between Carreras 50 and 39, a place where the Caleña and tourist audience will appreciate two international dance companies invited: From Cuba the Yoldance dance school that will show in its spectacle rhythms that precede the salsa, like danzón, guaracha and the mambo, and from Brazil the samba school Imperatriz, with a parade of over 50 dancers.
