Gold Museum
The museum has the purpose to make aware the preservation, the popularizations, and the communication of main aspects of the extinct and actual cultures.
The museum has been operating since 1982, in a beautiful house of La República Bank. It is one of the six museums of the bank in Colombia; has an important gold collection of Tayrona, Calima and Sinú cultures.
In the first floor, the standing out thematic is about the first inhabitants; there are panel exhibitions about the Atlantic coast cultures. In the second floor are described the zenues characteristics, social aspects like the goldsmith work, the economy, the animals importance and the natural diversity.
Activities:
The museum activities are: educative programmes, scheduled exhibitions, seminars, workshops, conferences and spreading activities.

Modern Art Museum
It is located in San Pedro square. Inside, people can appreciate painting collections of Alejandro Obregón and Enrique Grau painters. The first one was built the second half of XVII century; the second one was built at the end of the XIX century.
The museum is a join enterprise, dedicated to preserve and disclose the visual arts and educate about the cultural richness. It has an art collection, a donation of OEA, fifties painting collections, collective and individual collections and helpful activities.
Guided visits
You can visit the exhibitions; it is advisable to do an appointment in advance.
There are temporary exhibitions, conferences, projections in 16 mm, video, audio-visual, art collections consultations, spreading courses, marketing and works of art restoration.

Palacio de la Inquisición (palace)
The building is one of the typical houses of XVIII century in Cartagena de Indias. The Palace façade has grilles in the lower part, and a balcony in the upper floor which reflects characteristics of colonial houses, its gate has baroque style.

Rafael Nuñez Museum
It was Rafafel Nuñes house, a Colombian president, was built in 1858 and in 1978. It is located out of the Cabrero walls, has Caribbean style, there are exhibitions of personal belongings, furniture, art and painting collections in each room.

San Pedro de Claver Museum
It is a peaceful place that makes us to reflect, it is part of our history. There, people can appreciate valuable works of art, paintings and sculptures.
It was founded in 1950, has 830 collections. It is located in the former school of Jesuits, which was built in the half of XVII century; the temple is close to it.
The church, the pilgrimage historic center, has the major architectonic importance in Cartagena de Indias, because of its solidity and design. It preserves San Pedro relics. Many visitors arrive to the church in order to worship to San Pedro Saint. It is a two room church; in the first one are exhibited Colombian ceramic of archaeological places of the country; in the second one are exhibited religious painting and sculptures collections that belong to European and American epoch.

Naval Museum of Caribbean
It is located in the center of “Ciudad Amurallada”, between the bastion of San Francisco Javier and the Monastery, Museum Church of San Pedro Claver.
It offers permanent exhibitions about the military history of Cartagena de Indias, universal navigation, and presentations of colonial epoch and the first republican periods.
The museum purposes are providing the best about naval history, exhibiting objects about the naval history, creating events for propagation and information of Caribean Sea history.
It has modern installations, exhibits historical materials, scientific and interactive. The wing towards San Juan de Dios Street was remodeled. It has a republican façade, conserves the original characteristics, and has galleries with brick pilasters in the first floor and wooden balconies with roofs in the second one.

Colonial Museo
It is located in the second floor of Palace of Inquisition. It has objects about the inquisition epoch and military objects, the barracks of inquisitor and the torture rooms.

It is located in Bolivar square, belongs to William’s Best Organization, that is jewelry and museum where you will know the origin, elaboration and history of all crafts which represents different cultures as Muisca, Sinú and Tayrona.
