When you visit Bogotá, you will have unlimited shopping opportunities, in the city.  There are all from the most exclusive stores to places with excellent offers.

Crafts

There are peculiar objects, fabrics and ceramics, wooden objects and leather stand out.

The main stores are located on Carrera 15 between streets 74 and 77, in the international and historical center. In “Plaza de los Artesanos” (Craftsmen Square) , located on Street 63 with carrera 50, there are frequently events and artists meetings.

Antique shops

In El Nogal neighborhood, between 79B and 82, carreras 7 and 8, the most popular antique shops are located, also there are antique shops in Usaquén and La Candelaria.

Leather and footwear

The best prices in leather objects and footwear are in Restrepo neighborhood, popular place because there are a lot of footwear stores.

Clothing

The best national and international brands are located to the north of the city and in commercial centers.

CENTER

In the town centre the main places where to buy are: the carrera 7 between street 12 and avenue 19; there are clothing stores, jewelry shops, music stores, book stores. The streets 11 and 14 between carreras 7 and 6 has jewelries, emerald and traditional jewels.

There are several clothing stores in the carrera 4 and 7, jewelries, because is one if the main streets in the city,  in the town there are banks, money exchanges, cash points, hotels, restaurants and travel agencies.

Calle Real de la Candelaria Commercial Centre

It offers the manufacture and sale of jewels, precious stones and jewels implements as tools, cases and accessories. It has buying and sale establishments, beauty parlor and clothing for men.

Carrera 7 Nº 11-72 and Street 12 Nº 6 – 45

Vía Libre Commercial Centre

It is a place with a great number of students, the locals of informal clothing, piercing and tattooing stores, sale of alternative rock music, stores of natural products and varieties. It has restaurants specialized in pastas, coffee shops and fruit shops.

Avenue Cl 19 with Carrera  5

Terraza Pasteur Commercial Center

It has 86 locals that include jewelries, health wood stores, gift shops, perfumery, hairdressers and taverns. It provides banks, fast food restaurants, fruit shops, and Internet and tobacco shops.

Carrera 7 Nº 23 – 56

Centro internacional

Inside there are many typical and artworks, boutiques, leather objects.  On Sundays, it is opened a traditional market in street 24 and carrera 7.

Galleries

It is located close to Chapinero; the shopping center has commercial places. The main ones are on the streets 53 and 54 between carreras 24 and 27. There, people can buy all products, especially gifts. In Christmas season, there are a lot of gifts and Christmas decorations.

Carrera 15

From street 15 to 129 is very crowded because is a commercial place, where there are programmed exhibitions, has a cycle lane, wide platform and very good lighting.

Commercial Centers

Metrópolis Comercial Center

It is one of the most known commercial centers of the city. It was built in the decade of 1980, with a concept of the commercial citadel integrating the community, was inaugurated in July 1983.

It is located in Barrios Unidos locality, carrera 68 with street 75 to the northwest of Santa Fé de Bogotá.

It has an area of 31,865m2, has commercial premises, the Multiplex of Colombia Cinema, a six screen cinema, a funfair park for children and wide green zones, gardens and ornamental plants.

Unicentro

It is one of the most popular commercial centers of Colombia and is considered an increasing trend directed toward the big Multiplex commercial centers´ development in Colombia. This fact begins in 1970 and 1980, contributing to the commercial development of the nearby zones of carrera 15 and street 127 in the north of Bogotá.
