Simon Bolívar Metropolitan Park

It is formed by minor parks and sportive complex like Simon Bolivar Park, El Salitre Park, Los Artesanos Square, The Children Museum, and Celestino Mutis Botanical Garden.

El Salitre Park

It has a covered coliseum, soccer field, basketball courts and green areas. It forms part of Simon Bolivar Metropolitan Park. It is the most traditional park of all, has plays for children and adults.

Among the attractions for children are carousels, the games for families are “gusano loco”, bumper cars; the high impact plays like roller-coaster and Ferris wheel.

El Lago Park

It is the perfect place to walk observing the nature. It is located near Simon Bolivar Station. Long years ago, it was known as the bride and groom’s park. Its main attraction is the lake which offers boat ride services.

Sauzalito Park

It has several places to play, tennis courts, ice skating rings, a small children park, indoor and heated swimming pool, green areas, two convention centers and creative workshops on Sundays and holidays.

National Park

It is located in Teusaquillo, on the foothill of Bogota hills. It is the most traditional park of the country, has an aviary where are exhibited some bird species. The most beautiful are the views to the city, to different landscapes.

Mundo Aventura (park)

The park offers full entertainment for everybody. The different places have the optimal security conditions. The attractions are divided in three zones: Mundo Infantil (for children) where are “el tren riogrande”, the small safari, the crazy bus and so on. In the Mundo Juvenil are the roller coaster, the “martillo” and the sky coaster. The familiar zone has bumper cars and skill games.

It has parking lot, medical services, food court, public telephones and souvenirs store.

Divercity

Divercity is a thematic park based in a city where children play the adults role while they are amusing, learning and reinforcing the life values. They are 46 different attractions, children has their own money and make their decisions. It organizes children birthdays and special activities too.

Multipark

It is a recreational complex, has plays for everybody, an exclusive area for children where they will develop their motor skills. It has a farm, karts court, minigolf, fishing lake, small boats and many restaurants.

Panaca Sabana Agricultural Park

It is a venue of Panaca Agricultural Park in Quimbaya, is located close to Zipaquirá and organized similar to Coffee Region. It covers more than 62.00 square meters of nature, offers all landscape beauty with all comfort of modern life, and has seven animal groups as cattle, rabbits, birds, pigs, dogs, horses and fish.

Osolandia

It is a thematic park that reflects all about bears. It was built in a Victoriano style house of XIX century. It has different atmospheres for children and adults. Among the attractions are farm, park, theatre and cinema rooms, restaurant and a specialized organization for children parties.

Swimming pools

Bogotá has several private and public Swimming pools; they are preferred places not only for children but also for adults.

Cici Aquapark

It is an aquatic park, designed for sharing with all family, offers recreation areas. It has 21 attractions as big slide for people who want to get the adrenalin going and a special area for kids with aquatic plays, heated swimming pools which are not very deep.

Piscilago

The park is placed 2 hours from Bogotá, Nilo municipality- kilometer 105, road Bogotá-Giradot, has tourist attractions with six pools and slides and 155 species of animals.

It is a beautiful park, zoo and piscilago, the most complete of Colombia, has vast recreational zone (83 hectares). Its architectonic uniformity, the contrast with nature, the well cared animals makes this the perfect place to share and have fun with family. The temperature average is 28ºC. It is considered one of the biggest parks of the country, has a lot of attractions, rides, and a zoo. It can hold up to more than 10.000 visitors per day.

It offers recreation areas to visitors and all age tourists; its main objective is the client’s pleasure, that’s why it is constantly getting better in order to fulfill the clients’ expectations.

Zoo

In the zoo, you will know the most representative and complete fauna of the country. More than 800 animals and 150 native and exotic animals, birds nursery, aquarium, turtle nursery, serpentarium, sea otter, crocodiles and babillas area, ostriches, anteaters and so on. It provides environmental education.

Tercer Milenio Park

The Tercer Milenio Park is a wonderful place that offers 16,5 hectares of green areas, trees, gardens, poplar groves, springs, water mirrors. This project was promoted by the district administration since 1998 and inaugurated on December 31, 1999, is a space for contemplating and enjoying.

This project achieves united nature elements as the sea and the vegetation, with architectonic constructions and the artistic expressions in this area. The project was developed by the Transportation and Public Works, for 25 million of pesos, offers a variety of familiar entertainment.

The park is located on the sixth to ninth street between carreras 10 and 14. It has paths, two recreational zones, a small square, two fountains, a cycle path that crosses the park from north to south, courts with stands, zone of food, public baths and a cellar parking for 800 vehicles.
         
One of the attractions of this place is the Telecentro ETB that lends service of training and consultancy about new technologies, letting that 1360 children of the zone would be favored.
