Parque Nacional Natural Los Farallones (National Park)

The park counts with various ecosystems: the jungle, the rainforest and the moor.  It is a recommendable place for walking and ecoturism.  It is the refuge of “Gallito  de Roca” a type of bird.
The landscape is covered by woodlands, rivers, wild prairies where more than 60 species of birds live among, five species of monkeys, 80 species of bats and mammals like bears (oso de anteojos) and ant-bears.

Santuario de  Flora  y Fauna Malpelo (Sanctuary of Flora and Fauna)

This is one of the most amazing locations of the world because of the animal and vegetal richness inside marvelous landscapes.
The island of Malpelo is a Colombian treasure.  It is surrounded by 10 islets.  It is located 506 Km. from Buenaventura.  Many species of lobsters live there appart from different fish, whales, other sea species and birds.

Lago  artificial Calima

The artificial lake of Calima is a very popular location for those who practice nautic sports.  It is a pond that was built close to The Dairem River, half and hour from Cali.

Buenaventura

It is located two hours from Cali.  This is the most important port of the Pacific coast.  It is a commercial location.  It is possible to visit two popular fishermen villages, Juanchaco y Ladrilleros, which have beautiful beaches with dark sand and delicious sea food.

It is possible to arrive there by boat or ship by observing turtles and fish.  This is a two hours journey.
