Manizales

This is the capital city of the region.  It is called “The World Capital of Coffee” thanks to its coffee industry.  Their cultural activities are also very popular: The International Theater Festival, The Fair of Manizales.

Riosucio

This city is very famous because of its carnival celebration, a main event in the country, which is known as The Devil´s Carnival.
This is a very colouring carnival.  Many poeple attend to this celebration which takes place for several days.  There are a lot of parades and interesting disguises like devils and their court of little demons.  A nice presentation of a good devil is very popular.

The Palace of the Beauty Arts, The Museum of Natural History, The Archaelogical Museum of Manizale, Fondo Cultural Cafetero, The Inmaculada Church.

Parque Natural Los Nevados (Natural Park)

This park is an essential source of tourist richness.  It is located on the central mountain range of Los Andes.  It covers many zones: Caldas, Risaralda, Quindío and Tolima.  It contains beautiful locations and a diversity of flora and fauna.

Volcán Cerro Bravo (Volcano)

One of the most popular zones for walkings among tourists.  From its top, it is possible to access to amazing panoramic views of the valley of Magdalena.

Termales del Ruíz
