Paipa is a colonial city located three hours from Bogota, Colombia - Very famous because of its thermal waters - Includes information of hotels and sites attractions.
 

Paipa city - Boyacá

It is a colonial city of Boyacá.  It is located three hours from Bogotá.  Its tourist infrastructure is well designed.  The region is very famous because of its thermal waters, The Sochagota Lake and  the mash of Vargas a historical location.
There are a lot of ancient places in Paipa that transport people many years behind.  It also has beautiful and calm landscapes, ideal to relax.

Las  aguas termales de Paipa

Paipa is situated in The Chicamocha Valley where several thermal waters are visited with the aim of relaxing or searching a natural treatment for some sickness.  These waters come from an underground lake.  The place is surrounded by tourist infrastructure.  A special center offers complete programs for mind and body treatments.

Laguna de Sochagota

It is placed in Paipa.  Some ski and sailing competitions are organised in the zone.

El Pantano de Vargas

A historical region where the famous Battle of The Pantano took place in 1969.  There is a monument that was built in memory of 14 heroes of such battle.  Every space reflects some aspect of the independence.
